Just when we were starting to get comfortable with having a new baby in the house, we decided to change everything. Curtis was offered the chance to work for my dad on the farm and of course he couldn't turn that down. Dad wanted Curtis to start as soon as possible since harvest would begin in just a few weeks. We were a little apprehensive just because we owned a house in Louisville and it wouldn't be that easy to just pack up and leave. Plus, we loved our little house! We (with the help of Tim Held) put so many hours and work into remodeling the kitchen and the bathroom. However, the house was already feeling small with the addition of Lane, so we were looking forward to finding a new place in Henderson.
So, we quickly put our house on the market and starting looking for a place to rent. Everything fell in to place...our house sold in 3 weeks and we found a house out in the country (Curtis' only requirement!) to rent. Life was about to become a lot different!
