Valentine's Day Decor (using the Silhouette of course!)

Even though it's almost time to take down my Valentine's Day decor, I wanted to share it!

Curtis gets tired of cutting wood for me...but I really love him when he does!

I didn't make this file, I found it online, but I was amazed at how well the Silhouette was able to cut it out!  I just stuck it in a frame with some white paper behind it.

Can you figure out what these numbers are?  It took Curtis a little while to catch on :)

February

I thought that I didn't take many pictures during February...it seems like we didn't do much...but I did get a bunch of "real life" Lane and Katy shots.  Here's what they do during any given day:

Katy's first time painting.  Yikes!

Both kids discovered a dry erase board and markers.
They've had lots of fun drawing and tracing everything.

Katy likes to push her dolly stroller around.  She keeps
her sippy cup and pacifiers in the bottom basket.

We went sledding down the interstate hill with Chad, Brittanie, Grace, and Kaylie.

I made playdough one day...surprisingly, it kept both kids quiet
and happy for 45 minutes!

They are all about dancing these days!  Katy is hilarious with all her "moves".

I made them both new shirts one day.  They loved them, but were
even more thrilled with the shorts.

Playing with flour is a messy but extremely fun way to pass the time!

Mixing everything up getting it "just right" for the bulldozers and diggers.

Great-Grandma and Grandpa brought back some beads from Mardi Gras.  Katy
loves them and usually has a strand or two around her neck.

I got Katy's trike out one nice day.  Once we brought it inside, she
learned to ride it in about 2 days.  She pedals forward, backward, and everywhere!

Lane is all about the duplos/mega blocks these days.  He's been waking up at 6 am
just so that he can go play with Duplos!

That was our February!  We have all been sick for about the past 6 weeks. I am so ready for spring and staying healthy!

Across the Street

It is nice having my grandparents live across the street - Grandma brings me their Henderson paper every week, Grandpa lets Curtis borrow the snowblower (as long as Curtis clears their driveway first!) and we shut their garage door for them when they forget and leave on vacation.

It is also nice to just walk across the street for some entertainment for these guys:

They love digging through all of our old toys!  Lane really likes the big excavator and all the construction equipment.  I should've took a picture of Katy playing with the marble run - she has to stand on a stool in order to reach the top.  She LOVES it!

The upstairs attic is a great place for the kiddos to burn off some energy.  Lane had fun perfecting his bowling technique and trying to play badminton.  Katy mostly likes the riding tractor and throwing some balls around!  There are still tape "roads" on the floor from when we were little!

Lane is old enough that he can stay and play by himself when Katy and I leave (Katy doesn't like being left there yet!).  I know that Great-Grandma likes to have him come play!
