Katelyn - 13 months

At 13 months, Katelyn:

-loves to read books, especially books about animals.
-seems so grown-up the past few weeks - she's learning tons of new things!
-will finally drink milk from a sippy cup - yay for throwing all the bottles away!

-loves Pop-Ice, even if it's not open.
-falls asleep on her own all the time.  It's so cute to listen to her talk to herself before she falls asleep!
-consistently sleeps through the night.  Usually from 8 pm - 7:30 am.
-is moving to one nap a day (I'm pretty sure).

-walks with her hands behind her back and figured out how to walk backwards last week.
-loves to draw.
-LOVES to swim.  She tries to drown herself (the girl has no fear!) in the big pool, so we stick to our little pool at home unless Daddy can go with us!
-has two security objects - a pink and white kitty and a white kitty.  Oh, and the pacifier.

-is so cute when she snuggles!  It doesn't happen very often :)
-understands a lot of what we say and will say "uh huh" or "ok" when she agrees.

-is playing with toys in a new way.  She loves to "cook" now and figured out all by herself how to scoot a bowl to the kitchen so she can reach things.
-is pretty attached to me and wants to be in the same room all the time...if not sitting on my lap.
-is SO fun at this age - constantly exploring and learning!
