It's the little things...

With a house that needs work, it's the little things that can make you smile or drive you crazy.

These make me smile:

Brand-new couch (found on clearance + extra 10% off!) and
the kids/animals who play on them.

Finally getting a working ceiling fan in the master bedroom, just in time for 100 degree weather!

And these drive me crazy:


Previous owners who used two different colors of tile in the kitchen.



Same previous owners who installed flooring right over an air vent.  Guess the dining
room doesn't need cooled or heated?
